Paramount Grove Early Learning Centre

A place where children and whānau feel deeply at home

Paramount Grove is a warm, thoughtful early learning community where relationships come first. Tamariki are supported to feel safe, valued, and connected as they explore, create, and grow at their own pace.

Why Families Choose Paramount Grove

Care, curriculum, and connection in everyday practice

1

Relationship-Led Care

Whanaungatanga shapes our day, with kaiako taking time to listen, understand, and build genuine partnerships with tamariki and whānau.

2

Thoughtful Learning Environments

Inspired by Te Whāriki and Reggio Emilia, our spaces are set up to invite curiosity, creativity, open-ended play, and deep engagement.

3

Place-Based Learning

Tamariki learn with a strong sense of connection to whenua, community, and the wider world, developing responsibility, belonging, and confidence.

Our Philosophy

Belonging, aroha, and learning that grows through connection

At Paramount Grove, we are grounded in relationships, care, and a deep respect for each child’s identity, culture, and unique learning journey. From the moment whānau arrive, we want them to feel welcomed into a place where children are known, valued, and supported to flourish.

Our kaiako are thoughtful, reflective, and responsive. Guided by manaakitanga, they create calm, intentional environments where children can explore with confidence, express themselves freely, and build a strong sense of belonging.

Our Curriculum

Learning shaped by children, relationships, and place

1

Te Whāriki and Reggio-Inspired Practice

We see learning as a living journey, where children’s ideas, interests, and theories shape the experiences around them.

2

Ako in Action

Learning is shared. Our kaiako work alongside tamariki as guides, listeners, and co-learners, building knowledge together.

3

Environment as Teacher

Materials are open-ended and our spaces evolve with children’s interests, inviting investigation, creativity, and sustained exploration.
